My name is Thirumalai Cunnavakkam Ananthanpillai (T.C.A.) Venkatesan. I am of the Tirumalai Anandazhvan family. Sri Tirumalai Anandazhvan was a direct disciple of Sri Ramanujar. He was also one of Udaiyavar's 74 simhAsanAthipathis set by him to spread the Srivaishnava tradition everywhere. I am proud and humbled at the same time that emperumAn chose me to be born in such a lineage. This site is my little drop in the ocean in trying to prove worthy of being an ananthANpiLLai. I was also fortunate to be born in the divya kshethram of Kanchipuram. The village of Cunnavakkam (which is part of my name) is near Kanchipuram. I have fantastic memories of attending many a Garuda Sevai of VaradarAjap perumAL. PEraruLALan's garuda sevai is unlike any other sevai anywhere. I was fortunate once again in that I spent several years growing up in the divyadEsam thiruvallikkENi. Our house being right behind the temple, opposite thelliya singar's gOpuram, we had the bhAgyam of constantly falling under His grace.
For several years now, however, I have wandered of in different directions, currently residing near Detroit, Michigan, with my wife Sripriya and our daughter Deeptha. We always look forward to our trips to the karma bhoomi, where we try to reach His krupai at one or more of His divyadEsams.
This is but a small effort to give back to the great Srivaishnava community from which I have taken so much. Any errors and mistakes in this effort are entirely mine.
